Jacob Marley
First appearance: THE GRAVEYARD GANG Issue 3 – ‘A Graveyard Gang Christmas Carol’
In life, Jacob Marley, along with his partner Ebenezer Scrooge, made a fortune in business off the misery of others. So in death, Marley is doomed to roam the earth as a restless spirit wrapped in the chains he forged in life being greedy and mean.
He tries to help others escape his fate, as he did with his old partner Scrooge. He appears to them and with the help of the three spirits of Christmas he tries to show them the error in their ways.
One Christmas season he made his way to Ghostport and enlisted Lope, Marcie, and Sneezer to fill in for the missing Christmas Spirits.
Marley enjoyed his time in Ghostport with the kids. I wouldn’t be surprised if he visits again.
